2021 Pinot Noir

We are super excited about our first Pinot Noir under the 6040 Wines label. To be honest, there was some hesitation as doing Pinot Noir really well requires years of experience to get the most out of the wine. But you can't have experience unless you leap off the edge the first time, and we believe you will find this to be a wonderful wine. We have come to appreciate the elegance of a lighter red, but one that has the structure and depth to bring a fuller presence when required. We hope you enjoy the wine as much as we did in putting it together. Cheers!

2017 Cabernet Sauvignon

We wanted to add to the portfolio a true Napa Cabernet Sauvignon.  Emma finally converted to loving red wines after being introduced to the richness and multi-layer complexity that only a Napa Cabernet Sauvignon can produce.  We source this wine from grapes grown by the famous Stagecoach Vineyard where fellow winemakers have secured multiple 95+ point wines. While this wine is great to drink now, the big bold dark cherry, plum and cocoa flavors will soften over time and this will be a stunning wine in a few years.

2018 Pinot Blanc

If you have ever had the chance to be in Arizona in the summer, you know two things well: 1) It gets kind of hot around here.  So that leads to 2) We drink a lot more rose and white wines.  This led to us to decide we should produce a white wine we would be happy to have by the pool, but that we would also be happy to pair with a gourmet dinner.  Thus, our 2018 Pinot Blanc is sourced from Mendocino and features a bright rich wine that brings enough citrus and acidity to create a lasting taste in your mouth.  We add a little Chardonnay, Pinot Gris and Viognier to ensure the balance we always seek in our wines.
